Although we were here under the broiling summer sun, the evenings and nights were lovely. I've truly never seen so many stars at night since I was but a wee boy. This campground is an Escapee Co-Op Resort, maintained predominately by volunteers. . . yet is kept sumptuously clean. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and well maintained. There is a FREE ice cream social on Wednesday and Friday afternoons. . . the park is most friendly and sociable. We will certainly come back.

We enjoyed the 4th of July Holiday in this clean, quiet fairgrounds. Steve, the park manager and Butch, the resident workcamper are friendly and knowlegable guys. We camped here using Passport America with no difficulty. The town of Celina appears coloquial, yet still offers such ammenities as Wal Mart. To celebrate the Independence Day holiday we spent the day at Lake St. Mary nearby and stayed for the enening celebrations with a free Lee Greenwood concert. This is how to have a GREAT camping experience. Thanks!

Without going into great detail, allow me to merely state that were were treated rudely by the owner/management. The available amenities are in poor repair, the landscaping had been let go badly and the grass was un-mowed. We were infested by sugar ants throughout our stay. This is more of a long-term stay park with lots of mobile homes interspersed among the RVs. The park sites are not level as the park is located on a slope. The office doesn't keep an regular hours. Next time we'd rather drive an extra hour out of our way to avoid this miserable park. Why it is rated by Trailer Life I can't imagine.

Although the campground was quiet during the middle of the week, we found this park amoung the friendliest we've stayed at. The owners went out of their way to assist us and visited our site to make sure we were comfortable. Everything is clean and appears to be in good condition. The camping store is well equiped. We'll stay here again.

We have stayed at this park several times as we traverse I-40. This park is clean, convenient to local amenities (Camping World/Wal-Mart), and the park staff if competent. This park is older, but is reasonably well kept. Not all the sites have wi-fi or cable TV available. TV reception via the antenna is marginal. We will stay there is the future.

This newer park located behind the local Days Inn, which allows campers to use its amenities, is clean and modern. The campground is terraced along the mountainside, and therefore the sites are not level. The mountain views and trees are beautiful. They have recently opened an amphitheater and covered picnic area for groups. The TV reception is terrible. . . no cable available.

This park is marginal in its amenities and services. The office was not open during the day upon arrival, I picked a site on my own. The sites are rather crowded (unsuitable for slideouts) and the grass/weeds were overgrown. There is a Tyson chicken processing plant directily across the street allowing for lots of truck noise. This park is overpriced for the area and services provided. It is OK for a stopping over spot (if you wish to pay the price) but I wouldn't want to stay there under other conditions.

Beautiful, shaded RV park that is new at this review. They are building an outdoor theator. Services are in the Days Inn Motel at the top of the hill. Clerks were friendly, although not especially helpful. You pick your own site, as available. Park is clean and well kept. Good mountain hiking trails available. We'll go back.
